The Wellness Center, a part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, provides complementary care to meet the needs of a growing population of people who are looking to take greater responsibility for their own health and are seeking holistic-minded professionals to guide and motivate them to wellness.

The focus of the classes presented at The Wellness Center is on nurturing and honoring the body, mind and spirit of each individual. Healing Techniques
Some of the special healing techniques available at The Wellness Center include:
- Aromatherapy: Learn how to use therapeutic oils to enhance your emotional well-being. Recipes for bath, massage and inhalation will be provided for a variety of uses such as stress reduction.

- Art Therapy: Experience a way of expressing your feelings and thoughts by using art media. The emphasis is on the creative process and gaining insight into oneself. Classes focus on stress relief, personal growth, self-discovery and self-awareness.

- Behavioral Therapies: Techniques featured in classes on stress management, art therapy and guided imagery are included in this category.

- Breath Work: The process is an ancient spiritual practice which allows for self-exploration by using the gentle, easy, yet powerful process of conscious directed breath to stimulate your own healing powers.

- Dance and Movement: Learn ways to relax and unwind through breath, movement, sound and attention to discover the power and beauty of the dancer within yourself. Specific movement sequences designed to enhance fluidity and expression are presented based on principles of tai chi, modern dance and other methods.

- Feng Shui: Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art of placement which includes arranging physical living space to aid in bringing balance to your physical space as well as enhancing health and happiness in your life.

- Guided Imagery: The process allows you to journey deeper into your inner core for a closer look at your authentic self. Guided imagery is included in many of the classes such as aromatherapy, breathwork, art therapy and massage.

- Herbs: Classes provide information on what, why and how of using herbs and herbal supplements.

- Naturopathy: Classes will address the challenge of eating a healthy diet in today's world. Learn about what you can do to feel better and live a happier, healthier existence.

- Nutrition: Classes cover various topics such as natural alternatives to hormone replacement therapy; herbs, vitamins and foods to treat PMS, headaches and fatigue; and nutritional guidance for improving health and preventing disease.

- Pilates: Tone, trim and energize your body. This is a yoga-based mat series for strengthening and toning the mid-section of the body, which is the core foundation of your posture.

- Reflexology: A unique method of using the thumb and fingers to stimulate the 7,200 nerve endings in each foot to relieve stress and tension in the body.

- Reiki: Experience an individual session of Reiki, a form of spiritual healing. Practitioners channel "ki" or life energy, which rebalances and replenishes areas of imbalance in the body. Also, come learn how to use Reiki on yourself and others. Reiki I classes teach you basic hand positions and how to access universal life energy. Reiki II uses ancient symbols to further develop the Reiki energy healing process.
