Hillcrest has nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week with additional training to become forensic nurses – or Sexual Assault Nursing Examiners (SANE).  This 24/7 care makes Hillcrest a designated Sexual Assault Response Team hospital – just one of four in the Cleveland area. Dedicated to caring for the sexual assault patient with compassion and professionalism, sexual assault nurse examiners (SANE's) are expert at obtaining and documenting history, medical legal examination, crisis intervention and precise evidence collection.
