Minimally Invasive Surgery
Our surgeons are experts in the field of laparoscopic and minimally
invasive surgery. These kinds of procedures are performed through very small incisions, resulting in less pain, reduced scarring and a faster recovery. Hillcrest was the first community hospital on the east side of Cleveland to perform single-port laparascopy surgery. This innovative, minimally invasive technique allows surgeons to perform complete surgical operations by working through one incision, typically the patient’s navel, to insert all necessary instrumentation. Whenever possible, surgery is done on an outpatient basis, meaning you can come in and go home on the same day.
