Opened in 1968, Hillcrest is a full-service, 424-bed hospital that serves the medical needs of Mayfield Heights and the surrounding communities, including Lake and Geauga counties. A four-story tower opened in the summer of 2004 adding 103 of these beds, as well as two new Operating Rooms, expanded Cancer Center services and an Endovascular Suite for minimally-invasive vascular procedures.
Hillcrest has been named ten times as one of the nation’s 100 top hospitals in the consumer choice survey conducted by Solucient, a leading provider of information to the health care industry. Hillcrest has also been named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals® for cardiovascular care.
